Elite Words - The Running Writing Squad
Story
Hi there!
Whilst you would usually see us writing at our desks all day every day, we are excited to start fundraising (and running) for a great cause! We, at Elite Words, are participating in a range of distances, from five kilometres to a half marathon, to help gain necessary funds for Neuroblastoma Australia.
Neuroblastoma is an extremely complex and aggressive childhood cancer. Neuroblastoma Australia fundraise for key research institutes such as The Children's Cancer Institute Sydney and The Kids Cancer Centre.
Cancer has touched all our lives in some way, making this an extremely important event for us to be involved with. The Run2Cure fun run is an important fundraising opportunity which we are so excited to participate in.
We would be grateful for any support you can offer us by donating money to our team, The Elite Words Running Writing Squad. You can relax knowing that all donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Neuroblastoma Australia.
Thanks so much for your support, we are excited to run on 4 September!
Neuroblastoma Australia
Neuroblastoma is a devasting childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just two years old. With survival of rates for aggressive neuroblastoma at only 50%, this disease claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.
We don’t need a miracle; just more research.
Neuroblastoma Australia, is a registered charity founded by families with children affected by the disease and has raised over $1.7 million for research into a cure for this complex cancer which almost exclusively affects young children.
You can make a difference. Help raise funds for research into more effective and less toxic treatments for neuroblastoma today.
