Team Indianna
Story
Friends, Family and the wider Community,
Our Names are Rebecca and Chris, and we are the proud parents of Indianna Grace.
Indianna Grace was born on the 18.06.16 at 6am. Indi was happy, cheeky, and sassy with a smile that could light up the room.
Two weeks after her first birthday Indi was diagnosed with High Risk Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. She battled for 9 long months and sadly lost her battle at 22 months old on the 6.04.2018.
This is only part of our story, and it is the reason that every year we support Run2Cure, raising funds for research into Neuroblastoma. With us raising funds each year, the Research teams are one step closer to being able find a cure for Neuroblastoma. Once they find a cure children Indi's age will not have to undergo 8 rounds of Chemo, 6 MIBG scans, 1 bone marrow biopsy, countless blood and platelet transfusions, the loss of their hearing, the incredibly painful nappy rashes, the countless stays in hospitals and most importantly they will not have to lose their lives to this horrible disease.
Finding a cure would mean more children get to live the life they were supposed to live!
Please support our efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Thanks so much for your support!
Neuroblastoma Australia
Neuroblastoma is a devasting childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just two years old. With survival of rates for aggressive neuroblastoma at only 50%, this disease claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.
We don’t need a miracle; just more research.
Neuroblastoma Australia, is a registered charity founded by families with children affected by the disease and has raised over $1.7 million for research into a cure for this complex cancer which almost exclusively affects young children.
You can make a difference. Help raise funds for research into more effective and less toxic treatments for neuroblastoma today.
